Thank you so much for taking the time to visit the virtual tour page of the Ridgewood Cooperative Nursery School. Under normal circumstances, after speaking with you on the phone, or exchanging emails about our program, we would be scheduling a date and time for you and your child to come in for a tour. That is, by far, the ideal way for you to get a feel for our school and our program. If you were visiting us between 9:00 am -2:00 pm, you would be able to see the children in the preschool classes, lunch and play program, or one of the many enrichment classes. You would experience the teachers actively engaging with our students. You would see children singing in music class, listening to a story in our library, or attempting an obstacle course in a gym class. Unfortunately, our school, like all other preschools in New Jersey is no longer able to do tours of the facility during school hours. Due to the COVID-19 health crisis we must limit the amount of people that the staff and children come into contact with in order to keep everyone healthy and safe. The Ridgewood Co-Op is open at this time and, we continue to follow all the appropriate State and Local recommendations regarding all health and safety precautions. We have implemented rigorous screening procedures, our group sizes are limited, teachers and students are staying with the same cohort every day with no switching classrooms or mixing groups, and we are have increased cleaning and disinfecting practices. These videos were put together by me very quickly last school year before all the preschools in NJ were shut down. While this is not the ideal way to see our school, I hope that the videos can at least give you a sense of the space and our bright lovely classrooms. I encourage you watch the video, scroll through the pages on our website, and then call me or email me so that we can continue a more comprehensive discussion about why the Ridgewood Co-Op would be a wonderful choice for your family. If you feel the same, and would like to come for an in person visit, we can arrange something after 2 pm Monday-Friday.
